Question lbz FPR on a lb7

i was going to install my new fuel pressure regulator on my truck this week but was wondering if it would ran like crap untill i got it tuned w/EFI since it is for a lbz. id have to drive it to the guy who is going to tune it since my buddies v2 is broke and will have to by a new vin. any advice would be great as to i have no clue how it will act when installed

Transmission: allison 1000
Mods: transparts stage IV, S/C 1056 converter, EFI live w/ DSP2, LBZ fuel pressure regulator, 5" flow pro exhaust 6" dual wall tip, airdog 150, PPE billet pickup tube, K&n cold air intake, LB7 mouth piece mod, tripple piller gauge mount w/ fuel pressure,egt and boost, GM touch screen navigation, extang soft bed cover, tow mirrors, debadged
Wheels & Tires: 20"x10" eagle wheels and 33"x12.5"x20" nitto mud grapplers

bump!! anybody know if its drivable with out tuning it first ???

Its driveable but will idle with a huge lope, I have LBZ pump and regulator. I put a tune in with the stock b1010 table on accident which is what will need to be changed, it loped so bad it died after a couple seconds. I wouldn't do it unless you have EFI live on hand.

i can install the lbz regulater in the lb7 pump and get better flow correct? i shouldnt have to do the lbz pump rite?

Yes you can put the LBZ regulator on the LB7 pump and it flows more, they are identical on the outside of the pump other than the plug in on the regulators, the LBZ regulator plug in has a 90* bend on it so its a little tighter fit.
