Hey I'm wondering the same thing, but how is the highway noise, really? I like it loud in town, but I'm constantly all over this state. Since I've got a 5 speed, this thing sings along at above 2000 rpm all the time. So how loud is it on highway?

i have a 5 speed too and i know what ya mean about the high revs...but mine int really loud at all i usually cruise at 75 and with the windows up you barely notice it...way less obnoxious then most gassers ive been in

Right on thanks Beech, how about turbo spool up? Is there any difference there? I'm looking for ways to improve turbo lag that are fit within a college budget.
eh maybe a tad...but your truck is an lb7 so mine and your could be worlds apart.
did you port your intake horn? i heard that makes a big difference

yea baby!!!! cut muffler out picked up 4 in straight pipe wrapped it up with 4in band clamps. It sounds great can hear the turbo spool quiet till 80 mph then you hear the exhaust still cool
