| hypertech usually won't smoke they are conservative on the programming if it is smoke you are looking for go to efi live and with that you can shut off the light on the mass air flow and keep your filter clean you don't need a computer if you do the maintenence! efi live is very tunable would recommend it for smoke and whatever your looking for have a few locals with their tuning it's wild but they have mods to go with it as well! ! i use hypertech and am happy with their tune 90 hp mine does not smoke on that but it is enough for me ! very noticeable ! you can cross the border on mods and sacrifice the durability of the drivetrain!!
