Edge prob. ?

okay you guys 03 duramax LB7 just died, battery light came on and just quit has done it before but usualy I can put in neutral and start back up while still rolling but this time it won't do anything .... gonna try unplugging the edge tonight but has done it several times to me ... and yes I replace the fuel filter often .. it wont turn over or anything its just dead but the light s and windows everything else works !

What was the outcome?

My buddy has a 04 dmax and he bought it with a edge box in it. It would do the same thing! Happend once while he was pulling a fifth wheel!

He removed the edge box and it stopped doing it. He ended up sending it to edge and they sold him another one at a discount IIRC.

my truck did something similiar to this not to long ago. i had to have it towed to a shop. but of coarse it starts right up when it gets there....they drove it off the trailer.

I called edge they confirmed said they had seen it before offered to swap me out for a new one for $350 ... cannt decied may just go with the PPE instead what do you guys think will i tell a difference betwwen the edge and the PPE ?

Definetly will tell the differnece with the PPE. Its 3x the tuner the edge is. I had the edge tuner but never had any problems with it just decided PPE was the way to go.

my truck did somthing similar to this but it but it was all due to a loose wire near my edge, it shut of my rpm gague, lit the dash up like a christmas tree and would come outta first gear..
