I have an 02 chevy 3500 ccl dually and i want to get 2 mpg better out of each tank. What can i do to raise it from 14.7 to 16 or 16.5? I want to straight pipe it and cut the stock intake. My tire pressure is set at 65psi front and 65 rear. What else can i do!

AMSOIL Synthetics and fuel additives can help with mileage and will save you money on oil changes. If I can provide you some information or a quote, don't hesitate to ask.
Is there anything elsw that possibl could be done. Im short on cash right now. I am looking for cheap mods. Like cutting the intake. Taping the grill. Im gonna put a connecting rod under the pedal. I need to get the mileage for now im driving 550 miles a week and if i get above 16 thats a week on a tank. So hopefull i can. Thanks for all be help!

One way to save the fuel is to keep it under 60 mph. I know this isnt always an option but I have a similar trip to work and the speed limit 55. If I keep it under 60 and dont gas it then I usually get about 21 to 23 mpg. Once I break about 61 mph my mileage drops to about 19 to 21. If I break 70 then im definitely in the 16 to 19 range. Now my truck is alot lighter than yours but it should help. And definitely get a better air filter. Just a K&N drop in helps until you can get a cold air intake. The bigger exhaust helps some. And definitely tune it. Thats pretty much all I have on my truck.
