I will be buying a lb7 duramax, this truck will be my daily driver and will have to last me through threw college the most towing it will see is 2 seadoos.. Well with that said what would be the best tuner for my needs Quadzilla or PPE? I Want to be able to show these 7.3 guys in town whats up and roal some coal when need be... I wont be able to buy a new tranny anytime soon... So it will need to be a safe reliable set up.. I will get a afe stage 2 cold air, and a 5" strait pipe as well. Any info or suggestion are greatly appreciated.
well first off i would not go with an intake! there good for up to 500hp!! so just save your money!! for the exhaust i would def go for that and the tuner i would say quad stealth2. i use to run this and loved it ran mine on 90hp all the time! dad still has the quad also and he still loves it! ppe is not bad either i just have never had one!

haha.. i recomend Qaudzilla......but thats b/c i have one for sale....its a great starter tuner...... its pretty tranny safe even on the 135 tune.... mine doesnt limp......PPe is too big you go bigger then the 135 and your gonna limp your tranny sooner or later......pm me if your interested in a quad Stealth 2....

everything sounds good.. you could probably skip the intake... i love my PPE but dont know much about how they are on LB7s.

Thanks everyone for the quick responses.. So say i get the quad i can run it on 90 all the time and on say the weekends bump it up to 135, will that be okay on the tranny? Is it safe to do a 4wd launch with those mods and just tie rod sleeves?
what you want to do is what i did all the time.... except i kept it on 135 all the time....i didnt do 4x4 launches cause i dont have sleeves yet.....but yeah i liked the 90hp tune shifted good for town drivin.....
