okay so i bought efi last week from Rob ATP and am looking forward to getting it. i am however curious as to building tunes. i know i will get two tunes with truck and will mess with it when i get it but i like to read about things like this. im also wondering as to my mods rob will build the tunes for me but if i were to add a ppe boost valvefor example will i have to mess with my tunes or not? i know i get turbo or trans upgrade i will have to asap but im just looking for a guide/explanation of using efi live.

also ATP trannys OR Suncoast??? i will buy one eventually but want some opinions. also when you buy a fully built tranny the only other thing you really need is the torque converter. Correct???

any help on these two subjects would be fantastic. cant wait for efi!!!

You will not need to upgrad trans or turbo asap. Rob build great tunes for stock trucks that will not hurt your stock trans or turbo.

ATS or Suncoast here we go again. Its personal preference you'll get a million answers on that one. SC kits come with TC.

yeh im just curious as to which people have had problems with.

another quick question...

i installed my gauges and all went fine i wired the white wire off of both gauges to my dimmer wire... i still dont have alight in my gauges though... i know its sending power to the gauges but it isnt lit. could the bulbs be burnt out? did i wire to the wrong place or what? i spliced into a brown wire with white stripe.

any suggestions?
