if the codes are 404 or 401 ppe makes a stand alone harness to delete them or you can get whats called a "finger stick"
the only tuners that will block those codes are ppe standard and up and efi live

It's the 404 code. where can I get the finger stick and what does it do? what is the best way to block the egr?

you need a blocker plate for the egr....vendors on here should carry them..
im pretty sure kennedy diesel has the fingersticks BUT before you buy you should post up a thread on here asking for prices from vendors...they might be able to get you a better price and/or service
if worse comes to worse if you cant find one i know xtremediesel sells the ppe unit...its a little more expensive but it works i think its like 150...and they blocker plate is 10-20 bucks pretty simple.
if you end up trying to get the ppe one call xtremediesel and talk to kyle becuase that part wont be listed under lb7 as most dont have egr it will be listed under lly or lbz but double check with kyle there that it will work on lb7's im 90% sure it will

Some of the 01 and 02 trucks came with egr and cats. Like its been said, they're not common as they were Cali trucks. 03 and up is when all 6.6 began getting egr and cats.
