just to claify what ive read from other posts about tranny relearn. drive it nice for about 100 miles. also do the 0-60 at 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and full throttle then again in tow haul.
I've never done all that. I do the tranny re-learn and drive it like a granny for about 10-15 miles. I make sure the gears cycle a few times and then I'm back on it.
I'm scared to go over level 2 because I don't have the jack for a tranny right now.

I would say you should be safe on level 3, But I do not have first hand knowledge about that. You would certainly be good on level 2!!

It injects the fuel sooner in the cylinder cycle so the explosion is sooner which is harder on the engine because of increased pressure. I would have it on because you are looking for more power, which automatically will decrease your engine life.
You may still get 350,000 miles out of your engine, and if you are concerned about engine life leave it on stock settings!
I have the increased timing option on in my truck!
Dude the fuel doesnt explode it burns, come on and increasing your timing is just like advancing timing on a gas engine its just getting the fuel burning faster.

Exactly -- Which causes more cylinder pressure.

the trango jr does nothing for the 5 speed allison. the allison will learn to shift back to normal. The only real way to make your tranny last is to do a full build on the tranny.
yep, got the transgo shift kit, didnt help

Actually, like Duratitus said, the fuel does explode. It's called spontanious combustion.
