400 rwhp

So is it safe to run 400 rwhp on a stock Allison 5 speed? I know the rule of thumb is 90 extra rwhp... So wouldnt that make the truck about 400 hp? If not is it safe to run that on a daily driver and can it be achieved with ppe boost valve, 4" strait pipe, and best for last efi live??

look at it this way...
lbz example:
360 stock figure abotu 20% loss for rwhp..

stock rwhp +/- would beabout 288rwhp
90rwhp minus 20% = 72hp tune

288+72=360rwhp......

And thats pretty much the limit....

LB7's have 240-250rwhp stock.

EDIT: or what MM said, 350ish should be safe as long as you arent towing or anything.

I wont be towing anything and if i did it would be 2 sea doos.. So 350hp and that's attainable with those mods listed??

Yep with those mods you'll make 350 without a problem.

Well the deal is i am saving every penny to be able to afford a lb7 next summer as its my dream truck, and i broke my hand recently and cant work and im a junior in high school so money is tight to begin with... lol.. And i cant afford a tranny so i needa have the meanest dmax i can afford and show these ford boys what chevys all about.. lol.
