| the mix of methyl alcohol and water cool the intake air making it more dense so more air can enter the turbo/cylinder...the meth makes a more efficient combustion and helps burn the extra fuel (similar to NOS but not as hardcore)...then the remaining water turns to steam with high temps. causing a "steam engine" effect and raising cylinder pressure.
so yeah it will help out in all situations but there is just a greater need for it in high temp. applications...there should still be an increase in MPG and power no matter what, the #'s would just be based on the kit
