I'd like to be safe with atleast a different converter and shift kit because sometimes i do like drive it a little hard, and i dont want any trany problems.

different converter isnt really gong to help its the clutches that slip and burn up...and you cant install a usefull shift kit without first taking the whole trans out and apart anyway so you might as well throw in some good cluthces.

those tunes will smoke a bit but its not going to be like a cummins or powerstroke

Beech how many different programmers have you limped your tranny on? i think SC should just give you a stage V after how much abuse your poor Alli has on it already

HAHAHA if you do ever pull it apart i want pics of your clutches! that would be a sight to see, its too bad youre out of warranty or id say go in and see what the dealership says about it just for laughs haha

thinkin about selling my car over the winter and throwing the money into the duramax but im not sure

and i love it...but i dont use it much anymore...i feel very attached to it though would be real hard to see her go

hmmm tough call cause that definitely falls under the american muscle category, what year is it?
