lb7 resonator

I plugged my resonator to get more turbo whistle and made my truck sluggish till high rms what could cause this? Has anybody had this happen to them?

Maybe the plug is leaking causing low boost pressure. Start it up and use a quick short spray of starting fluid. If the engine RPMS jump thers a leak

The only thing would be if it were leaking, or you unplugged something. It is pre turbo so the leaking problem would probably be interfering with the MAF. If you unplugged something, you would probably have a light on. my 2c

So the plug wasn't sealing the hole tight enough than so air wouldn't get in
