Edge W/attitude ?

Just returned from round trip from NE to WY and back. In previous trip at 64 mph highway handcalculated mpg 25 over 90 mile trip in eco 1 setting. Knowing that the trip to WY average speed of about 78 mph and average fuel eco 1/3 way out in eco setting of 14.5mpg, last 2/3 trip out and full trip back on setting level 3 Drive Juice,15.83 mpg all hand calculated with new 265 75 R16 tires. Question. On way out and back in level 3 the pickup every now and then the trasmission would jolt sometimes just changing lanes. The transmission is ally 5, stock and fluid level checked out to be full warm. Is this just the learning by truck to new level? And is the load % of 35 to 40 normal when running with back loaded with lugage no trailer and 5 teen age passengers. Thanks for any replies.

Yes every time you change tunes the tranny has to relearn the shifts. After it goes through all of the shifts a few times it will get better.

Thanks BigRedChevy and Maverik. Helps calm the nerves when jolts felt almost like running over a 2X4 at 78 mph on used truck just purchased in last 30 days.
