My truck is registered in michigan as we speak, but i am looking at going through a maryland inspection. Will i past the inspection with my five inch exhuast pipe. MBRP exhuast system has the muffler on that came with the pipe. Any ideas? I have never had to deal with inspections so i really have no clue.
I wouldn't worry about it. If they want to go as far as doing a VIN check on it (not likely) they will see that there is no CAT from factory. So your exhaust shouldn't be illegal. Is that your only concern?

cool, thanks i appreciate it. I didnt suspect that it would be a problem seeing though i still have a muffler on it. It does not blow smoke or anything when it starts. I am looking at selling it to an individual and they are worried about buying it then it not passing.
I have a license to inspect cars in PA. But, I sold a truck I owned to a guy in maryland. He told me that when a truck is first entered in the state you have to go buy a certain inspection. Example I had headers on the truck and he had to install manifolds
Id call a maryland inspection garage and ask them for there opinion.
