Does n e know what the little speaker on the drivers side of headliner is for? I know that they are for onstar but my truck never had onstar or was never even equipped. When I turn my key on it starts making like a low clicking noise but goes away when I start it.
I do not have one, I do not think That is one of the few options i do not have is onstaer. Do you have a pic. of it?

It is for the On-Star feature. Also it's the speaker for hands free cell phone if your truck is equip'd with it, but I think the satelite phone and On-Star were packaged together.
I belived that that speaker was for onstar. I have onstar and I have that speaker. So what make me start to think is what type of radio do you have. single cd or 6 cd.

Actually, my owner's manual says the small round grille-covered device in the headliner above and left of the driver's seat is an interior temperature sensor. Audio for OnStar is piped through the stereo speakers. Now, where the mic is, that's another question....

Could be the interior temp sensor cause I do have digital climate control. It had a single cd in it from factory but I took it out. It does not have the bose system in it either.
