P0089 code

Just got 4 injectors replaced. put on thr air dog pump separotor the 150 gph one and doesnt smoke at adle anymore but i threw this code a day later. a very well trusted GMC mechanic did the work so im almost positive its not that he told me not to worry but seeing the light on is like seein my wife with another man. haha also it seems when i let off the gas and am coasting to an stop my truck idle sounds like an old harly like brum brum brum but rpms dont flutuate just sounds and when trans shift into nuetral it goes away. any idea all post are greatly appreciated

That is a Fuel Pressure Regulator Performance code.

I set it on my truck when i forgot to plug in my FPR. It sounded like a drag car with a huge cam.

i would have the GM mechanic hook up his Tech II and monitor the FPR.

ok thanks yes it does sounds like im ready fun with the funny cars haha. i will get that checked how bad is it to drive like this?

i wouldnt drive it with the issue because it is causing erratic fuel pressure.

The airdog is sending to much pressure to the FVR. It only needs about 10 PSI. I have the airdog 165 its adjustable.

what AD model do you have? If you have the DF-165, then adjust the regulator down.

I just installed ADII 165 on my truck last week this code popped up on my today, if AD is pushing too muck fuel pressure how do you monitor that pressure to set it correctly?
