Stacks

Is any one running stacks on there LB7, i have a 4 inch off the turbo with a six inch tip and there is a bad drone,seeing how bad the drone woulnd be with the stacks, i want 6 or 7 in assies having a crew cab long bed dually i think the bigger the stacks the better they would look on the truck,

i saw an 06 this weekend with 8inch stacks and it was really quite but the guy said that it was noisy going down the road.

Ask Wally about running 8" stacks with a muffler under the bed to tone down the drown. Wally will probably have the answer.

i dont have a duramax but im running 6" miter cut stacks straight piped on my truck... i can tell you the drone was very loud esp around 2k rpms. bad enough that i installed an exhaust cut outs with an electronic valve so i can turn the stacks on and off.

I don't have stacks, but I will say I know a couple people who do. And I can tell you they hate the noise. Plus there were a couple occasions where they needed that extra bed space....and didn't have it.

the bypass kit is 300 bucks.... it works very well. if it wasnt for that i would of already taken the stacks off
