De-fueling During Shifts

I've got an edge juice with attitude and it gives you the options to either de-fuel on shifts or not . when i bought the truck off the lot is was set to de-fuel , I've been reading the manual and recently changed it just to see and It seems to quicker like i have it know . but am I in danger of tearing up the tranny now ? should I change it back ..

All I can tell you is, with a stock tranny, I would set it back. EDGE, PPE, Banks, etc. all de-fuel during shifts unless you are running big horsepower with an aftermarket tranny.

Yeah you are slamming the tranny.up to level 3 is o.k. Be careful on level 5!

Yep, I don't now what truck you have or what you have done to it or has been done to it as far as mods, but I would definitaly put it back. I run the same Edge and it works perfectly from one to three. I have not had it past 3 but one time on 4. Unbelievable!! In fear of wiping the stock tranny, I stay away from 4 and 5.
