I was looking on ebay and found a EZ Amp chip made by BD Power for my duramax and it says it retails at $599.99 on its on ebay right now that im bidding on for $30 with one day left. so is this a lagit deal or has anybody ever heard of that brand? This is the description :
I have never seen one ran. Sounds like something is wrong how can it retail for 600 and this guy sell it for so cheap. What the hell try it and pay with PayPal that way if there is a problem you are still kind protected by PayPal.

DO the programmer /BEWARE of locked ''chip modules''
Hey man,a word to the wise,,these cheap ''chips'' can have negative effects..My friend got one on his Dodge[do not remember the brand name]and he has had nothing but trouble!!The simple chip modules just ''fool''things such as the IAT,MAF and the MAP sensors,it gives the components the wrong readings,so,there are lots of variables with a unit like this, not always, but,if it sounds to good to be true,it prob is..My friends pickup did fine for 3 days, then all hell broke loose!!Codes GALORE,now he may have contributed to this by losing his cat and muffler, all in one shot!!With no programmer,he was able to read the DTC's with his OBD2 scan tool. However he was unable to CLEAR or DELETE any of these DTC's after that!!1He was pissed[puttin it lightly]and after 4-5 days,he then removed it..The truck has gotten horrible mileage since Dodge 1500 4x4 w/360 c.i..He is only able to get in town::10-11mpg,,and on highway::14-15 at best!!His mileage was a lot better before he wired this ''module'' in line of the IAT sensor and the appropriate plug. This thing did all kind of adverse things to his truck and he feels like he is at a loss!![YA THINK!!]Do any of you guys rec reflash of the ECM to obtain the stock program??Do not order one of these ''simple install'' pieces and you will be OK.The best bang fer the buck is to choose the programmer of YOUR liking, that will fit your needs and application..I am not bashing BD,because I do not have ANY knowledge of ANY of their products.[except turbo timer I like.from BD].Sorry for the long post but maaannn,I never wanna see anyone have trouble with their rig like he has.He tried this 1 year ago and the truck runs at about 1/2 power still...Just beware the snake oil sales man,I AM NOT BASHIN,just don't wanna see ya $$$ get taken for a inferior product...Good luck!!!!!

The main thing to remember is that you get what you pay for! And if you have any doubts about your truck in any way, I would recommend getting the factory ECM reflashed like he said, that way you know exactly what your starting with. Remember this; and you can qoute me on this one anytime! No Matter what your budget, why spend so much on a truck and then shoot yourself in the foot trying to save money on upgrades? Go ahead and spend the extra money to get a new programmer from a reputable dealer, if it is online make sure they are listed with the online BBB, etc. Some of the people selling things on Ebay(but not all), are just trying to make extra money, and may not be there for you if something goes wrong.

since it's from BD that is the only reason i would go with it since BD has always been a good Diesel Performance Company..i also agree you get what you pay for but for that kinda money i would try it to be honest, but thats me.
