PPE/ tranny question/Boost valve

Okay, so I just got my 5" turbo back exhaust today... and my Edge juice w/attitude, while waiting for everything to arrive I finally read some posts where people are talking about the problems with Edge. So, I am returning the Edge and getting PPE like everyone suggested-:sorry for not listening to you guys the first time (John, big red chevy, tow master, diesel nut).

Anyway the important thing here. If I go w/PPE and use a 90HP tune and get the LB7 boost valve is it going to be too much power (consider I am a very conscious driver and dont even do a WOT 4-5 or 5-4 shit on a stock truck). I do plan on upgrading the tranny, but that could be a year or more away and I do put a ton of miles on the truck and tow light (around 5-6K) loads sometimes. Is there any downside to letting the turbo put the extra 10 pounds of boost in?

On a side note, my truck will have been in the shop for a full two weeks by the time I get it back for warranty injector replacement- does this sound reasonable? I am a little worried too, the person working on my truck never went to a diesel mechanics school- he said "I just picked it up working around the shop over the past few years." Man I cant wait to put that exhaust and a good tune on this thing :cool
Thanks
Sean

The 90 hp tune will really only be around 50-60 to the wheels so you will be fine, and the turbo is good for 30-34, but i wouldnt do that to long. The boost valve should pick you up 4 psi, so you would be in mid to high 20's with 90hp and valve.

You will be fine with the 90 hp tune and the boost increase valve.
