Boost Install (LB7)

Im installing my boost guage right now, and cant figure out were to drill and tap, the truck is a LB7, im not sure if I drill on the passenger side or driver side in one of the metal tubes, and where at on the metel tubes thanks for any help

if your looking under the hood just behind the cold airintake hose you'll see the intercooler pipe follow that to the intake which bolts to the block remove that bad boy and drill&tap it.

Dude all you need is a T fitting to put into the wastegate line and run it into your guage...thats how i got mine setup...

Yes, I think it is very accurate, it is a closer reading to what your turbo is making, rather than being later on in the intake system.

real new to diesel, I wish I could look at my truck now but I left it at the shop tonight, Is this line pretty easy to find

Ya, its under the cover that says 6.6 Turbo diesel on it, that comes off with a 12mm hex i think. It runs from the turbo to the wastegate, it's like a 1/4" rubber line about 12" long.
