i switched from S&B and now i run AFE and IMO they are some of the best but like you can see everyone has different opinions so thats just my experience..Banks has some great products and they do their research so i wouldn' be scared buying a Banks Intake if you don't mind paying an arm"n"leg for it..

I had an AFE stage 2 on my truck actually it was the very first mod I did. I was very impressed with it. I had it for about a year then went on a Banks kick and put the new Ram air kit on. It never felt like it matched the AFE on performance so I swithched back to the AFE. It was all purely subjective for me as I never dyno'd the truck with the different systems I just feel like I get better performance from the AFE.

I have an afe stage 2 in my truck now. Working pretty good so far. I am not impressed with the K&N intake, however. Had one on my powerstroke and it left a lot of dirt through. As far as dry ver. oiled, it is not a big deal. Most of your aftermarket cold air intakes use oiled filters. The amount of oil that gets sucked into the engine is not enough to mess up the MAF sensor.
