Need "Crazy Larry" tune for 02 GM Duramax!

Upgraded my tune and lost the Crazy Larry tune!!! I guess BUlly Dog had to remove the CL tune (230hp) for their product due to some legal bs. Anyone know where to get the old tune. Or if you have it would you be willing to upload it off your card?

I have the file. I can send it to you if you give me your email. I got it from another guy. I just can't figure it out, however I have sent it to others who have got it to work. I'm not that great with computers.

Verry cool!! Send it to darbyneil@virgs.com I'll let you know how it goes. I think all you have to do is download it to your chip, or whatever that card in the side of the display head is called, and then update in the truck. If you need to reset the PMT, go back to stock settings. If that doesn't work, hold down the power button while you turn on the key and keep holding for about 10 seconds. I don't know but that would be my guess. I'll let you know. Thanks again.

I see your issue. Sorry I thought it was so simple. .rar files are compressed and I got them unzipped using winzip from filehippo (free download) Download WinZip 11.2.8094 - FileHippo.com

But the problem I have is there are no files with those names to replace in the update agent folder. I thought of renaming the files to match by extensions but there is no .bin file in the agent folder at all to replace in the first place. It also appears that this may be for the triple dog and I have a pmt but I think they both use the same software so I am stuck too. ANYBODY HELP US?

I don't know about fixing your problem, but IMHO i would not run Crazy larry. I had the tripple dog to begin with and ran the crazy larry tune. Did not like it at all, i thought that the extreme setting ran much better/quicker and shifted better. The crazy larry tune will also put a lot of stress on your tranny. I limped my stock tranny with that tune.

Yeah, good advice I am sure but I'd still like to try it or have the option since it was advertised for the PMT I just got and I upgraded before I got to try it. I work on big marine diesels and am just having some fun with my truck so I'm new to this. I am looking at the Suncoast Stage IV w/ 1056 Torque Converter for the gear. How do you like it? Something happened to my tranny last year coming back from a Wyoming hunting trip so I think it's about done. Metal shavings in the oil. Still holding together but going to rebuild it before this year's trip.

I love my tranny. The 1056 converter almost feels stock when driving normal. the only difference between it and stock is you feel it just a little more when it locks. When you run hard you have a nice firm shift and NO SLIPPING!!!
