Cool boost gauge install??

so i have a boost gauge and it only came with the t fitting for vacuum line and it says that im suppose to find the vacuum line coming from the intake manifold and intall the t fitting. well i can not find the line im suppose to t into even if there is one i dont know. so what i did for now is t into the line from the turbo that goes to the wastegate and it works kinda but i dont know if my boost im reading is correct then on top of that i have a manual boost controller and that screws it all up so where im i really suppose to hook up my boost line is the question. if any body has some pics that would very helpfull. thanks

Whats the gauge reading now? I have mine driled and tapped into a tube comming from the intercooler next to the alternator. I know there is a fitting you can but to put it in the tubes on top of the motor. But, that tube is to thin to drill and tap.

the only correct place to locate the line is on the compressor discharge. If you don't put it there, you will never actually what the turbo is actually producing/how hard it is working.

it is a simple matter of tapping the boost tube, and running a 6" copper line, then connect to the plastic line.

well when the boost controller is turned off i get normal boost reading i think it goes to 20-21 or so it does work but not as acurate as i need it to be. but then again when i open the boost controller up then the truck should be puting out more boost and the gauge only says 10 so ya that the problem. so then where you drill ur saying is on the aluminum pipe that acualy bolts onto the manifolds or the pipe off of that on the other side of the coupler?
