lly 2004.5 head gskt replace now no oil press

hi new here have a question i just did the head gaskit" on a2004.5 duramax and now it will start but will not run and it has no oil pressur . i changed the oil after i changed the gaskits so i know it has oil the oil press switch is pluged in. it will run for about 10 to 15 sec but the gage does not register any oil pressure any ideas

im wondering if i missed a plug some where . it is makeing a beep ing nois somewher by the turbo . any help . if i pump the fuel filter up it will run about 20 sec. then it just runs out of fuel but the oil pressure gauge never moves. so does it have a low oil pressure fuel shut off ?

You didn't put a headgasket on upside down did you? I think I remember hearing something like this before.

i went really slow, checked the gasket twice and am pretty shur that i got them on the right side and the right end up . but if i got one on wrong souldnt it still build oil pressure ? and does any one know what that beep beep beep noise is . it only comes on when the key is in run . and it sounds like its coming from under the turbo.

The oil pressure connector is under all the wire harness on the driver's side valve cover. I believe it has 3 terminals. If not connected, it will show a fault display.

thank you . i did not have a code reader but now i have a superchip flash paq it sayes it has a diagnostic trouble code reader so monday will check .

If you will look on the front of the drivers side head and the rear of the passenger one they will be labeled, just a quick easy way to make sure you didn't "mirror" them on.

I have heard a dealership around here that installed HGs backwards. Engine did run for a while.

pluged in the reader the codes it shows are PO642 and PO193 one says fuel rail pressur high and dont know what the other one is. is ther a code section in this form ?
