| Ready to buy first Dmax Hi guys, new here to the forum and to diesels. I am about to pull the trigger on a 04.5 CCSB 4x4, 183k, 4" cat back, edge juice, w/ air bags. It is in pretty decent shape, there are some scratches and dings here and there and it will need 1 or maybe 2 injectors, has a fuel gauge that doesnt work, and possibly a few tie rod ends...for $12k. What do you think? |

| buyin the Dmax For your info..... I bought a 05 a couple months ago for 16.5 117k with lots of mods that you can see in my sig.. But I was lookin for this exact truck only

| Price seems fair, if not low. I don't think the miles are an issue if it was taken care of. My truck has 222K and it still runs great with no big problems. Before you replace the injectors, do the DIY injector cleaning. My balance rates are near perfect 20K miles after doing it.

| Price out injectors and factor that in.

| Thanks guys, I think it checks out other than what mentioned. Premis...what DIY injector cleaning are you talking about, like just a fuel additive to clean off the injector itself? |
