block heater cord

Mine is just hanging into the passenger fender well between the inner and frame, do most people just plug it in there or will the wire reach to clear the grill (prev owner has mine all retarded zip tied from hell, havent been able to play wit it yet)? Its already corroded pretty bad, seems like a bad spot for it (esp with the salt this state puts down).

i got mine going out bye the passenger head light if you want i pic ill post one

Well I live in Calgary so not too much different in temperatures considering we are only 2 1/2 hours apart. We get chinooks though
