Hey Maxthis, do you think that the AFE mouthpiece is as good as the LBZ or the machined LLY? I have the AFE and an AFE CAI and can easily hit 1300 egts just getting on it a bit. I haven't towed as I just got the truck about a month ago. What are your egt's when cruising at highway speed not towing...say around 70 mph?

to actually lower EGTs you would benefit more from a new Downpipe than the inlet. i didn't see hardly any reduction in EGTs with my own 4" MP. i did however see lower IATs.

personally i wouldn't even put a machined LLY MP in the same category as an LBZ or AFE MP. also don't forget that the Bully Dog fuels a little harder then other programmers.

I couldn't tell you how it compares to others as I have never ran them. But towing there was a significant change in EGT's....I'am not 100% sure without checking but I would say at 70mph they are probably around 750-800...

This should be the very first mode on your LLY motor you should due. I have owned mine since new. I pull 14000#parachute called a heartland toy hauller Model 4012. The resuletes are amazing throw away your after market air box. put the paper filter back in. Then work on your exauste and due a egr blocker plate. I get (9 to 10 Mpg pulling my trailer from Spokane to Yakima Wa. 4 hard pulls one of them being ryegrass which is a 10 mile pull of 5% grade. and i can easely maintane 60 MPH I have no tunner. but will be up grading to EFI live.In the futher. I got mine from KILLER BEE I highly recomende him. where the hech spell check.LOL

Is it possible to have the LBZ mouth piece on my 06 LLY from the factory? Its one of the last LLY’s and defiantly the last of the ZF-6. My mp and filter box doesn’t look like the 04-05 LLY’s.
