Transmission Options

Hey. I want to get rid of my Allison in favor of a manual. I would prefer a 6 speed but a 5 would be ok. I need something that will bolt up to my transfer case or a tranny that has one. EFI Live will be on its way as soon as I can find someone to buy my Edge w/attitude so I can block all the codes. So what are my options?

look at the zf6...good luck you will need it

the only trans thats going to properly bolt up is gonna be a zf-6...and its gonna be hard to find one...

I thought I read someone swapped in a dodge tranny? Where would I find a tranny?

maybe you saw something about the duraflite....

used zf-6's are hard to find even while in trucks let alone just the trans...i guess look online and pray for the best

Hello all! I have a working 6-speed manual transmission out of a 2000 2wd 7.3L that I need sold. It was bought with the intention of using it for a project that never happened. It does need a clutch and a reverse light switch(most people have a preference anyway). This tranny should fit all F250, F350 Superduty trucks with 7.3L diesels from 1999 thru 2003 and are $1500 and up if you have been shopping for one. Asking $1000. Any questions, please let me know.
