2005 lly called the dealer for the fpr repair and they what 375.00 for the regulator and 400.00 labor to install i found the regulator at huckstorf diesel inc. for 162.00 shipped .maybe i can do it myself after reading how to forums just passing on info hope it helps . huckstorf diesel # 1-800-776-7102. are just look on web for them they have paypal.

What were some of the symptoms you guys were having with your trucks before you replaced the regulator. I think my truck needs one.

Exactly what mine was doing. Not noticeable on TAC or EGT but def could hear it. Stealership did mine under warranty few months ago. Hasnt done it since. I had to find the right dealer because I was worried about my Edge. There are a couple cool dealerships out there, not many though.

Thats what mine is doing. I called the diesel shop I deal with to order one and they said there was no way that it could be bad. Tried to tell me something else was wrong and that the whole cp3 was bad. Apparently they don't work on to many duramax's.

Its like a 3hr job if you know what your doing. I think there is a DIY on DieselPlace. Its on the CP3 in the valley, front part of the motor. You gotta move around alot of crap to get to it. So it would be an all day event for me. I drink to much beer when I am playing mechanic.
