Dual exhaust vs single

Thanks for all of the replies I do realize that they are not a true dual as far as a pipe bolting to each manifold back and require a y pipe but most v8's are the same way as there is no way to eliminate the 02 sensors and maintain good driveability for most gas vehilces after 1984 however if they are y'ed off in the right place they do have a pleasant sound with the right mufflers. Does anybody have a sweet sounding diesel out there with dual pipes? So far it sounds like i just need a straight pipe.
