i'm not aware that the vane sensor could be recalibrated. i believe if you have a faulty sensor, it must be replaced.

you might actually need a tech 2. Many times the snapon/mac scan tools dont do the procedures correctly.

this is what the verus says for code p0046..... alot of typing....

"position of the turbocharger vanes is controlled by the ECM. ECM utilizes a turbo vane control solenoid and a turbo vane position sensor to control the turbo vanes. when engine is not under load, the turbo vanes are in an open position, or no boost condition. when engine is under load, the ECM commands the Control solenoid valve to close the trubo vanes. thus increasing the boost. ECM will vary the boost dependant upon the load requirements of the engine. the Vane control solenoid control valve uses 2 circuits, a control circuit and a low reference circuit. ECM uses a pulse width modulation on the control circuit to open and control the solenoid valve.

if any service has been performed on the turbocharger or on the turbocharger components, a turbocharger relearn must be performed. failure to perform relearn may cause this DTC to set."

mine my fingers are tired. lol

relearn procedure with a tech II.

You need to see a dealer or someone with a tech II.

This is common.

I kinda read fast....
Thats odd. Are you running a After Market intake too?
I dont think the sensor is bad. And I am not 100% sure the re-cal will fix it either. If you have an aftermarket intake you may need to rescale the MAF.

Are you sure that you plugged your turbo sensor back in? There are a few that have put the MP on & unplugged the turbo sensor & forget about it.
