Weep Hole

I'm trying to get a look at the weep hole on my water pump to verify that my coolant leak is coming from there before I tear into it and it ends up being a head gasket.... Where is the best way to view the weep hole? From the top, bottom, can't seem to locate it. A picture would be awesome..... thanks guys!

from the bottom, take off the plastic splash guard.

Its tricky to see, bottom of the water pump behind the radiator hose.

I was able to barely see it from underneath. I pulled the guard back and shined a flashlight up there, it was behind the hose clamp so I had a hard time but finally got an angle on it. I couldn't see any water dripping out but I could see where a trail of water was coming from it and running down to the oil pan so the water pump replacement is a go..... do you guys think I should replace the thermostat while I'm in there?

Water pumps are deceiving. I figured out I need to replace mine after I let it idle and had a buddy shut it off when I was looking at the weep hole. Sure enough, I saw coolant come out of there. Mystery solved after 2 weeks of confusion.
