She was finishing up another case first and we had to go through the BBB process first before we could go any further. Now she is working on our stuff. I would of had it finished in the BBB if my truck was under the 10,000lb GVW. Because it's over, we have to go this route. It sucks! Everything we got out of the hearing will work in our favor in court. I blew General Motors out of the water in the hearing with all the facts we have. They came to the table with (nothing at all). In court they will be forced to back up their warranty and I am going after all my lost expenses and down time. Now I want a Brand New Truck with a title and they can keep the 04' and pay it off. Everyone else included with the case will be looking to recoup their losses also. It doesn't happen over night but we are going to push it!

Go get em'. You deserve everything you are asking for and more. So do all the other people that have had injector problems, or for that matter, any problems. I Hope that this doesn't give the good dealerships a bad name, cause mine in West Plains, Mo (Brad Guffey) has the best people from the service manager, mechanics, helpers, parts, sales and owners. I have always been treated like they want me to be the happiest customer in the world. GM should treat you and their customers the same.

I'm wishing you the best cause truth will prevail!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with you. The dealership where my truck is has been awesome. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase from. It is General Motors Corp that is the problem here. I know alot of dealers that get no support from General Motors. Thats bad when your own company doesn't back you up! I guess the treatment is not much different then how General Motors treats their customers.
Thank's for all the support and we are going to keep on fighting until the right decision is made!

At that time the warrenty was 60000 miles or 5 years. The dealership there towed it in and had over night authorization from GM to replace engine. I picked it up when the engine was replaced and drove it another 70000 miles with no issues. I have not heard of any one with a blown Dura Max. I build my own race engines in my race cars and have never known any one at the tracks that I travel to in which most likely 70% of tow Vehicles are Dura maxes have any failiers. My 04 LLY is used only to tow my trailer to the track 135 miles each way every weekend or my 16k 5th wheel traveling in the winter and fall. It works hard and thus far had 1 injector replaced under warrenty. I take care of my truck and expect it to take care of me. I have owned 2 GM diesels and 1 Ford diesel and never had to spend a dime on the engines. We have heard your side of the story but not the other. There are 2 sides to story.

If you have followed the threads here and on the other sites you will see I know what I am talking about. I also race professionally and I am in the High Performance business. I run 3000hp twin turbo big blocks. I build alot of engines. What I have stated about my truck is all factual and I have everything to back it up. General motors came into a hearing with (no)proof what soever. I myself didn't realize the problems with the Duramax out there until I asked owners to get back to me that have had these problems. I was overwhelmed with responses.
I am a G.M. man all the way! It's the only thing I race, but I have a huge problem when they don't stand behind their products. I can understand there being some problems when you produce hundreds of thousands of vehicles. You are going to have some problem trucks. You can't be perfect!
What is going on right now is General Motors has grouped everyone together who has a diesel failure and just claims (power-adder). It is just eaiser for them to just say no! Some will fight and some will not! They will save about $20,000 on each person that walks away. That will add up quick! I still think the General Motors product is the best out of the big three. I have owned the others. I just happen to get a lemon and so did a few others. I don't know if you read before but I was a Mgr. at a Chevy/Hummer dealership a few years back. General Motors doesn't like it because I know the games they play. That is one of the reasons I left. I didn't like the way customers were treated from corporate. So believe me when I tell you I have all the proof to back up everything I have posted.
Oh, by the way, there are 3 sides to every story! I know without a doubt, I am telling the truth!
