They are great trucks. They just seem to have some issues. There is no way to protect you from what i'm going through. It's just how General Motors treats it's customers. All you can do is pray you don't have any of the problems. If you try to improve their design flaws, it will give them a reason to try to deny your warranty coverage. I hope after time that my case will make some impact on GM to stand behind their products so when we make such a large purchase you won't have to worry.

Had the depo yesterday. I have to give them a few weeks to speak with their client and make their decision. I also need to give them some more of my business paperwork to cover losses. It's in foward motion and it looks like they want to get this settled. I will keep you updated.

Man, I just spent an hour reading through this thread to only find that over a year later you're still unresolved. I'm really appalled at how you've been treated by GM. I'm a GMC man through and through, but this really has me questioning my desire to purchase a 2500HD. I might stick with my 1500 for a few more years then.
Best of luck to you man, keep those teeth sunk into their behinds!

Thanks for all the support! This case would have to make anyone think twice before making such a huge purchase. Now i have to hope that none of my other GM vehicles have any mechanical problems.

Hold off! Don't buy anything until we see how they handle this.

Too late..... Taking delivery Saturday. Good news is I have no money for accessories (other than a cap) so keeping it standard for now will hopefully not get me on GM's bad side. And, I know a few attorneys.....
