atleast take more than you wanted in the firstplace. You sound like you have a very strong case. You put a lot of your time and work into it when you really should have not had to. Give the other reps something to make fun of this rep about at the x-mas party....

There is no way I am giving up and settling. I want some General Motors A$$!

Their rep is going to have a hard time sitting down when I am finished with him. He will definitely be the clown of the Christmas party this year! I am expecting them to come back trying to give me an engine now. That's not good enough anymore! That's why I demanded a brand new truck. I won't stop until they have one sitting in my driveway! I already have my teeth sunk into this one!!!!!

My only question is, with they way they are treating you, why would you want another GM product?

Other than that one question I commend you and your wife for taking a stand against GM on this. So far it appears well thought out and very strong. I hope you come out on top and get what you and the others truly deserve. I will be watching this thread closely.

I still think General Motors makes the better of all three. I am a Chevy Man! I like their trucks and I race their cars but when you build a product you have to stand behind it! They need to be reminded of that. When you offer a 60 month/100,000 mile diesel warranty, STAND UP TO IT!

Their is no confusion, They have some some serious problems and need to take care of their customers that have these problems. Thats what good business is all about!

On a positive side, GM is the best and hopefully they will always be the best. It is a shame there are a few BAD GM reps that make the consumer suffer. I hope they pay you restitution for all your time and trouble.

I think a brand new truck is in order for you and a new vehicle for your wife also. The added expenses of your motel and rental, even if it was using your othe vehicle should be in order too.

Thanks Rob! I am hoping they wake up or someone at the top of General Motors see's whats going on and grabs the bull by the horns and takes care of the problem before the snowball rolls over them. I can't believe they let someone at a lower level handle this the way they did. A very bad business practice in todays market. As we speak, this thread is costing General Motors hundresd of thousands of dollars in sales and it's only going to get worse!
