I am very serious about this. If any of you out there have run into the same problems, please get in contact with me. (This will not cost you anything.) My wife is a litigation attorney and will handle everything. The more people we have, the stronger are case is. I want to be able to show a pattern with General Motors warranty deniles. I am willing to take this into the courts. I know alot of you have spent your hard earned cash repairing your truck. This may be your best chance of seeing it come back again!

It will be awesome if you can get something going for this.

Now out of curiosity do you think there will be a harder case if alot of people blew the motor with mods like a programmer or stuff like that?

Yes, of course. I wouldn't even attempt that one. What I am dealing with here are stock trucks. The case law is already on the books. I deal with high performance engines on a day to day basis. If I send out an engine and the guy who bought it alters it from the way I set it up to be dependable, it would be hard for me to stand behind that. Your top professional race engine builders for say like a ProStock car, send their engines out on a lease program. You get 2 or more depending on your needs, that are sealed. You are only to fine tune and change plugs and oil. If you have any other problems with it, you need to change it out and send it back. If you touch anything else, your screwed! And you have a "Huge" deposit on the line too. One of the biggest problems out there I see all the time are people throw nitrous or a supercharger or a turbo on a stock engine. You have to build the rest of the engine to handle the more compression, torque and HP. If you don't. Next thing you know, you have a granade. I see it alot on imports just because alot of kids get them as their first car and bolt everything under the sun on it with limited knowledge.
Diesels are no different! There are companies out there that manufacture very high quality products for them. These are thing you need to think about. Head studs, stronger rods and so on. The list is endless. As you build more power, you need to make sure it can handle what you are adding to it and last. Now you need to make sure the rest of the truck will hold up to everything you did too. Yes, the rest of the drivetrain! Take the transmission! The axles! Like I said, it just keeps on going. I can get carried away!

Just trying to get my point accross. Lack of knowledge and just bolting on performance parts is why it is such a fight to have warranty coverage taken care of in these times. Lack of knowledge is not only on the consumer side, it is also on the dealer and manufacture side. With every action, there is a reaction! Yes, I must keep the wife working, it pays for the toys!
