how do i check the regulator or the lift pump..also last time i changed my oil the guy at jiffy lube said my truck did not use a fuel filter is that true?

also when the condition is present it will not go above 2000 rpms

ANY diesel without a fuel filter???????NO SUCH THING...dont listen to that moron,and you do have a limp condition if those rpm's won't go above 2000..Reset it back to stock if it's still under warr,hmm do it anyhow,you may be able to get some more life out of it with a light foot,but before ya get too nervous change that fuel filter,PRONTO,and oh,don't forget to slap that a$$bag at jiffy lube that told ya a dmax uses no fuel filter$^^@$%!#$^$%^!

what does the term "limp" mean. also when i did reprogram it i reset it back too stock and the condition did come back.

if i take down to a kragen will they be able to hook it up and tell me whats wrong with it?

Not 100% sure,but I can say Auto zone can if the ses light is on,also a programmer should be able to tell,does the Diablo read DTC's and clear them,I have a cheap superchips,and it does both,check papers ya got with prog,and look for trouble codes.

just did a dtc check with the diablo programmer and it came back with no error found.

Change fuel filter,have ya ever changed it,and how many miles if ya never have,could be problem,just would not wait too long...
