| Hey guys i thought my problem was fixed but i was wrong. I was pulling my fith wheel while i was following my buddy with his fith wheel and i couldnt keep up with him. Before my ses light came on i could cruise an easy 70 mph with my trailer and i had a hard time keeping it at 60 mph. My buddy has the same year of truck and his is stock and mine has add ons. When going up inclines my buddy was doing and easy 60 mph at about 2200 rpms while i could barely hit 50 mph and i was at 2900 rpms. All this and my check engine light never came on and it is showing no codes on my programmer. Also while pulling i had my programmer on the tow mode and i had less power and my exhaust temps were getting really high around 1300 to 1350 on level ground. Before i got to the grade i removed the programmer and changed it back to stock and i had a little better power with my exhaust temp running around 1250 to 1300 going up the grade. But i was still lacking power and my buddy left me in the dust. Caddy said he had some problems with his turbo sensors and i plan on taking it to the dealer. Any advice you can give me.

From what everyone on here says, once you limp it, its going to happen again, and more frequently til your tranny is gone. | if you limp the tranny it will give you a code.

Was there a lot of black smoke? How much boost were you seeing? It might be a turbo or egr issue. |

| The truck has 41,000 miles on it and the brakes are fine. One thing i did notice was when i was going up hill and on the gas my boost gage went back forth from the 20 to about 5lbs of pressure about three times and the truck would lose power when the boost went down. It continued to do this until i let off the gas. You reminded me of this when you mentioned the boost. If it was a boost or egr problem wouldnt it throw a code? thanx guys for the help i need it. My truck dose smoke alot even when it was running good.
