| check engine light /no power
heys guys just bought an 05 chevy duramax and was pulling my 5th wheel uphill and lost all power. the check engine light came on.it has a predator diablo programmer on it and and a friend told me to reprogram it. the light turned off but it still did not have the same power. Then on the way home it happened again...need some help i am new too diesels. |

| i just had the oil changed and temp on engine and trans were all at the normal temps when the light came on. the second time it went out i was also climbing a hill. what trouble shooting shoul i try? | |

| How heavy was trailer,just gen stuff,and what did you rule out so far??How does it run unloaded,does it stick in 3rd gaer,and will your rpm's go above 2000 when the condition is present??

| my trailer weighs 15,000 lbs. with the trailer off the truck runs good through all gears but its not as strong as it was before. the rpms go over 2000. the last time the light came on i was around 2500 rpms and then i lost power. what should i check? | |
