Testing of MAF

Is there a way to test the MAF on an LLY motor?
I have a P0103 code and can't keep it cleared. See my signature for truck specifics. I have tried using the Bullydog Triple and still get the code.

I forgot to mention that I have tried putting on the stock air filter and have cleaned the MAF with carb cleaner to no avail.

When/if you change your MAF you should go to a dry filter and not oiled.

I think that you can buy actual MAF cleaner. Might look into that. And yeah its the K&N filter that messed it up in the first place. Probably got covered in dirty oil and f'd it up. If you get it fixed ditch that K&N and go back to a dry filter, like the stock one.

i had the exact same problem with my K&N filter, i kept getting the P0103 code and i would have to keep clearing the code every couple days or so.....so i bought some MAF cleaner, and a new ACDelco air filter, cleaned my MAF, and havent had a problem since.
I might have gotten to mine a little quicker than u did with yours, since your still having the problems with a clean MAF, and a stock air filter. but try the MAF cleaner before going and buying a new MAF sencor.

It might not be related but when i put my Kennedy fingerstick on the truck, i reacll a list of MAF codes that could arise if a wiring problem occured. Maybe check Kennedys web site and see what he has to offer. Other than that check all connectors at the MAF and ECM or try removing the Edge..... Hope this helps. Good luck man!

I didn't see that in the sig. Yup, the connections oxidize and codes start popping. I don't think this was the smartest of inventions.

It's that or the KN spilled oil all over the MAF. I'd like to know what your fix was.

The latest - I took the truck in to Chevy - MAF checks out OK. I did get home and had a U0106 (glow plug comm error). I took the truck back and they have ordered the module and a new EGR valve (the blocking plate was on the truck!). When I got home from Chevy, I took off the fingerstick and plate and installed the Edge EZ, put the K&N back on, did the Kennedy air box mod and now I have NO EGR codes or MAF codes!

HMMMM???
