Major turbo lag

Every now and then when you run the truck it will have a 5-7sec lag to the turbo... but then you turn the key off and start it up again all is good. This will happen every once in a while but not too frequent.

So whats up? thx steve

make sure your air intake is clean..i had a similar problem this last week that was a simple fix with a new intake..just a thought

Im around 1900ft... i seen a code saying "Turbocharger under boost" a couple of timez but it does not show up when the turbo lag occurs seems just randomly when i check the codes every now and then

Ive been busy with work as of late... ill do some more investigating tonite or tomorrow

I am thinking boost leak, or egr leak.

Under boost code shows up when desired boost does not equal actual boost, after so many counts, as in a big lag. But 1900 ft should not be the cause of it.

Once again, EFILive log session, and 10 minutes of digital dissection should suffice.
