Dang I wish I would have known about this site and KB before my son graduated this past July and moved back to So Cal.

LOL nope I would have made time to see KB while I was visiting my son in PHX. My truck is stock but I would like to start doing things to get better mileage as well as a little more hp while towing my trailer.

I am fairly new to this though and don't want to waste money so I am reading and will ask questions and research before I spend. I gained 2 mpg switching to synthetics in the engine and diffs. I want to get more mpg when driving empty (truck is daily driver) and a little more power while towing for the grades.

It sounds like KB is is the guy to talk to and ask questions of as AlisoBob did.

I will second what you are thinking....Best to read and carefully plan mods to your truck to maximize results with most effective efforts.

KillerBee has carefully investigated and his efforts are helping us all.

I am looking for the same benefits you are. Also consider water injection as water is an abundant resource that will further improve efficiency.
