Angry Egt

I have a 05 with the lly intake dual exhausts tuned by power labs in idaho i also have a lift pump on it. 6 inch rcd lift 20 inch toyos with jesse james wheels. it is only tuned not a duel tuner can't keep egts down when i get to 75 i am maxed a 1250 any ideas. thanks

First, 1250* is nothing to worry about. I would imagine pushing the big tires doesn't help any. What are your egt's while cruising?

at 75 iam at 1000 cruising at85 1400 won't go down at all nice set u have.

what is duel tuner.

anyways 1250 is perfectly safe. You can hold that on the longest hill forever and not worry.

1400 is still fine, but sounds a little high for cruising

I know my tires aren't as big....but since I've deleted my CAT....I'm seeing around 550 to 650F going 60-70MPH on the HWY. If I'm crusing up a hill....they get to about 1125...but never any higher than 1200.

My daily driver tune that can run as high as 2000 if I stay in it, only runs 600 cruising at 65 with tiny tires.l

i would get a different tune,our pulling tune only runs 1000-1100* on a hill running 70-80MPH..

You truck has defective induction plumbing. You should see a 100 F reduction from peak numbers and more power when you fix it.

Your specific tuning is big factor also, as mentioned above.
