LLY Vs. LMM!!! Help!

I currently have an 05' GMC with the LLY and its about that time to trade it in on a new one. I have heard alot of good and alot of bad about the new LMM motor and the dpf! A couple buddies in town have them and took off the dpf and one did the complete banks six gun paxkage and said it runs like a stipped ass ape. Just curious what all you think about the new LMM and what all programmers take off the regen mode so that you can take off the dpf? Also will a LBZ turbo back exhaust fit on the LMM if i take off the dpf. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The LMM has more than proven itself...I know in La. more folks tug a G/N with the newer LMM's than the crumblins[Dodge it,you better!] and the 6.poorperf[ford stupor duty]..And yes the lbz exhaust is direct bolt on.......

Exclamation

Keep in mind that performance adds will remain in the computers memory. Doesn't matter what you hear. It's a fact!!! As long as you don't worry about warranty coverage, your good to go!

the LMM is a beast to tow with..in stock form it will run as fast as a mildly tuned LLY.
01-08 exhaust hangers vary very little, like i can install an exhaust from an LB7 on a LLY,LBZ or even on a LMM except for the from mount they are almost the same setup..

Ya i would do the DPF delete if you can take the chance on warranty. I have not had anyone complain, about warranty denial, and I had a customer with a seal go out of his turbo and he took truck in tuned and DPF off with no problems.

It really depends the dealer.
