lbz mouthpeice, what exactly?

Ok I have read lots on kbs mouthpiece mod. I want to get some things stright. I have a stock 05 lly intake system and mouthpiece. To overhaul the mouthpiece What exactly to I need to buy? What baffels are people removing exactly? Thanks

its just the turbo mouthpiece nothing else. the kodiak on it alot larger and allows you to flow way more air with less restrictions. as for the baffels thing, it gets rid of the piece that goes to the turbo resignator making more whistle and you dont have to worry aobut trying to plug it if you wanted to do so

So basically If I install the updated 06 intake system and purchase the lbz mouthpiece. Im good to go right.

Not exactly. If you get the entire 06 intake and mouthpiece you will have to rescale the maf sensor readings and get the Maf sensor for the LBZ also. You will need to install the LBZ moutpiece and mod your LLY intake tube to fit.

Ok so I am looking at this gm bulletin that is telling me to replace my intake with the 06 intake. It says to just reflash the computer. Thats no problem I work their.

the 06 intake and mouth piece would be the way to go i you are able to reflash it with the update and since your a GM tech your set.
