Ok so i'm going to the track tonight with some of my buddys and im wondering about 4wd launching. I did it when i had stock tires and everything was fine, now i have a truxx leveling kit with 1in blocks in the back with 33x13. I have the fabtech HD tie rods. Is it safe to launch in 4wheel? If so at what psi. Thanks

dont launch unless you have the centerlink done..its up to you but i'm thinking you'll bust the front end since the only thing different is the size of the tie rods..

it is a straight center link that is needed to prevent tire "toe in" caused by the stock centerlink rotating, which changes the steering geometry and allows the tires to turn in tward eachother while pulling or dragracing in 4x4.

I have the Fabtech Tie rods and no centerlink w/ 35's and a 8" lift, my truck is doing fine with me 4wd launching... just launch from 11-13psi and if the truck starts hoping around, let of...
But it would be a good idea to change that centerlink...

now that you mention it, i am a little worried about the CV angles. maybe 4wd launch isnt a good idea for my truck the way it is right now. Thanks guys gonna see what 2wd times i can get my truck the same way it is with stock suspension ran 14.5 in 4wd. this is my first time to the track with new tires
