PPE Standard and Codes

My 2004.5 LLY has no Cat and 4" exhaust so I get 401 egt codes. I put the fingerstick in and now get P0103 codes. Will the PPE standard allow me to block codes or does it just give you the ability to clear them?

It will block egr codes, and clear the other trouble codes non related, but if there is a problem they will reappear.

Thanks, so I can remove the fingerstick and should not have the egr codes? This should also eliminate the P0103 codes if I remove the fingerstick?

Yes you can remove the fingerstick and the PPE will take care of those codes associated with it.

How exactly does it block egr codes? Does it block them only when you add a tune. Do you do something else to it to get it to block the codes. I know its dumb questions but inquiring minds want to know.

Its funny, I have the ppe and the egr blocked. If I scan my truck with the ppe the egr codes dont show up. If I scan the truck with my tech 2. The codes are their.

Just ordered my PPE today, when I get it I will take off the fingerstick and see if the SES lite comes on!

Can somebody give me a little info on this. It doesn't say in the instructions so I don't want to screw anything up. I would like to block the EGR and put a tune on now that I have my PPE but am waiting to find out the right way to do things.

Do I need to fool with any of the options in the tuner?
