prolly a dumb ? but o well where is the plug to plug the truck in i im looking alll over up front cant find it 05 lly

Look neer pass side up front,it should be coiled up and either taped or zip tied .Run it through the grill for easy access...It is a bit hard to find.I will prob never need mine,so I have only seen it once..

You really don't need it till it's under 0* degrees..There are a lot of guys that have colder temps that don't plug in and start up fine,not a bad idea though....19 is chilly!!

I live in Central PA.....it's been in the teens here all week...and last winter it got to 0 and below...and my truck never skipped a beat starting up.....so I never used mine yet.

You dont need to plug it in but it helps it warm up faster.

Anyone know how warm the block heater actually heat up the coolant (heating up coolant lol) just curious looked outside this morning to see all the snow melted off of my hood. it was about minus ten here last night, thats in C for you southern boys

according to tecII the coolant temp was 83 when I started my 04 last winter when the outside temp was 10. Funny thing was I would let it idle for 10 min and it would cool of to 65.
